Hythe (August 2017)
We were approached by Clive from Prins Forklifts to install lighting and power in a Spray Booth which they were building. They already had two quotations and was looking for a third. We informed them that a spray booth is classed as a hazardous area and we could not quote, as we were not approved for hazardous area working and special light fittings would be needed. The other two contractors had not informed Prins Forklifts of these facts. Prins found a paint that had no risk of explosion completed all the risk assessments for the spray booth and employed us to install the new electrical system.
We installed a new distribution board for the spray booth along with socket outlets and energy efficient LED lighting. We also run power for the electric door shutter and connected the spray booth extractor fan. When we had finished we certificated all our work.
Installed a 3 phase supply to new area of our building and wired up our new spray booth, lighting and extraction and powered roller shutter door. Very professional with regard to calculating power draw and lighting level which will be available. Installed on time and to quoted cost.
